Latvenergo Group, operating in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance and ensuring the sustainable development of the company, has established basic ethical principles for cooperation with contractual partners. Latvenergo Group expects its contractual partners - suppliers, service providers, contractors and other cooperation partners - to observe these principles in their operations and in their cooperation with Latvenergo Group.

Latvenergo Group invites its contractual partners to familiarise themselves with these principles and to observe them in their daily work. If an employee or official of Latvenergo Group acts contrary to these principles, we ask you to report it.

Fair treatment

Latvenergo Group expects contractual partners to act honestly and fairly in all business relationships with Latvenergo Group, its employees, customers and other cooperation partners. Fair treatment means respectful, open and truthful conduct at every stage of cooperation.

Contractual partners must ensure that their employees who act on behalf of Latvenergo Group or under its instructions observe these same principles. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment or other disrespectful treatment of any person.

Prohibition of conflict of interest situations

Contractual partners must avoid any situations in which their personal or commercial interests may conflict with the interests of Latvenergo Group. If such a situation arises or may arise, the responsible person at Latvenergo Group must be informed immediately.

Latvenergo Group prohibits contractual partners from offering, promising or providing any advantages, gifts or other benefits to employees or officials of Latvenergo Group that could influence their decisions or actions.

Prohibition of fraud and corruption

Latvenergo Group requires its contractual partners to have zero tolerance for corruption and fraud. Contractual partners are prohibited from offering, giving, requesting or accepting any kind of bribes or other improper payments - whether directly or indirectly.

Latvenergo Group expects contractual partners to comply with all applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations and to have an appropriate internal control system in place to prevent corruption and fraud.

Employees of Latvenergo Group are not entitled to accept gifts that exceed a symbolic value. Hospitality and entertainment are permissible only if they are reasonable, transparent and not intended to influence business decisions.

Cooperation

Latvenergo Group values long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with its contractual partners based on mutual respect and shared ethical principles. We expect contractual partners to actively participate in implementing and promoting these principles.

If an employee of Latvenergo Group acts contrary to these principles, or if a representative of a contractual partner has encountered a situation that indicates possible violations, we ask you to report it by completing this form.
