Emissions

We determine the composition of flue gases and the concentration of solid particles.

Oils

We test transformer, turbine, compressor, hydraulic and thermal oils.

Fuel

We test solid biofuel, liquid fuel and natural gas.

Water

We test drinking water, water from lakes and other water bodies, process water and wastewater.

Asbestos

We determine fibre concentration in the air and deposits on surfaces, and test asbestos-containing materials.

Testing Centre

The Testing Centre of the Inspection and Occupational Safety function of Latvenergo AS is a competent and accredited laboratory that performs testing in accordance with the requirements of the LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard.

Scope of accreditation:

physical, chemical and physico-chemical testing of fuel (solid, liquid, natural gas);
sampling and physico-chemical testing of wastewater, drinking water, and water from natural and artificial lakes;
sampling and physico-chemical testing of emissions and workplace air;
physical and chemical testing of oils.

The laboratory is accredited by the Latvian National Accreditation Bureau as a testing laboratory (Registration No. LATAK-T-146)
